Sneha not to quit films!

Prasanna is very modern in his outlook and has no intention of making his fiancee, Sneha to quit films. The actor took time out to clarify certain rumors regarding his wedding. A section of the press had clarified that Sneha had postponed the wedding against Prasanna's wishes because she wanted to continue acting and had landed a role in Kochadaiyaan.

The Anjathey actor said that he thought Sneha was a talented actress and it would be a shame for her to waste her talent. He said that he will always respect her career choices and be supportive even after their marriage. Sneha will be seen in Kochadaiyaan and a Sarath Kumar film called Vidiyal.

Prasanna’s special Gift to Sneha!

Guess what was the first gift from Prasanna to Sneha after both got that special feeling for each other? It was a beautiful silk saree. But before that, Sneha gifted a costly wrist watch to her 'Achamundu Achamundu' co-star, which obviously put him on cloud nine.

"I had a lot of respect for Sneha since she was senior to me in the industry and so popular. It was with that respect I started moving with her during the initial days of the shoot of Achamundu Achamundu. But slowly we realised that we are made for each other," he says.

"At one point of time we realised that we are so serious about each other and that we should join hands in life. We have expressed ourselves to our family members and the ball is now in their court to take this relationship to the next step," says the 'Muran' actor.

Giving credits to Sneha for his image makeover, Prasanna says, "She is the one behind the changes in me. Sneha took utmost care in my image makeover and gave me a lot of tips. I am so happy to have her in my life and I wholeheartedly accept that life is beautiful after Sneha's entry."

Sneha birthday celebration!

Sneha celebrated her birthday on Tuesday (12 October).

Like all previous years, she visited a temple in the morning with her family and later had lunch with inmates of an orphanage.

It was nice on her part to spend time with the underprivileged children on her birthday and pep them up.

Sneha has a handful of films which are in various stages of production- Murattu Kaalai, Bhavani IPS, Vidiyal and Ponnar Shankar. She is also one of the hottest actors in the endorsement sector.

Sneha filed a case against Ragavendra

Sneha had filed a case against Ragavendra a year ago for sending her lewd messages and pestering her to marry him. The actress then lodged a complaint and filed a case at the criminal court in Chennai.

The case was taken up for hearing recently and Sneha, along with her family and PRO narrated the torture she was subjected to. While she was in the court, stating that Ragavendra still continues to message her, she received an SMS from him yet again which she showed the magistrate. Ragavendra’s advocate, however, objected to the magistrate taking it up as an evidence at this stage of the case to which the magistrate ordered that it will be taken up during the cross examination.

Corrections for Sneha by CM

Director Thyagarajan, who is currently directing Ponnar Shankar with his son Prashanth in the lead, showed the few scenes that have been filmed so far to the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu M Karunanidhi recently. On seeing those scenes, the CM is reported to have suggested a few corrections to the Arukkani role played by Sneha.

  

Ponnar Shankar, which is based on the novel penned by the CM, is being made on his guidance. It may be recalled that it was the CM who put forth Namitha’s name for negative role in the film citing that she would be very apt for it.

Sneha replaces Lakshmi Rai

Popular South Indian actress Lakshmi Rai, who was to play superstar Mohanlal’s wife in his under-production Shikar, has reportedly opted out of the project due to date clashes and reigning queen Sneha will replace her. Shikar is directed by Padmakumar, produced by Tetco Rajagopal and scripted by renowned writer S. Suresh Babu.

 

Notably, this is the first time Sneha will be paired with Mohanlal. She will play the role of Lakshmi Kutty, his wife. Ananya of Nadodigal fame will play his daughter. Sneha will join the unit of Shikar from June 3 in Ramoji Rao Studios in Hyderabad.

Sneha’s answer and Nayan’s silence

Sneha and Nayanthara’s absence at the star night, conducted by the Tollywood film artistes, for the flood relief has stirred the hornet’s nest. Both the actresses were sent notices seeking a reply on why they failed to attend such an important event.

 

There is a buzz now that Sneha had replied to the notices stating that she had been suffering from flu and hence could not make it to the event. When enquired about Nayan’s absence and her reply, our sources in Tollywood say that the lady is yet to give a proper reply.

Sneha’s morphed photos seized

Cyber crime officials have captured numerous images of Sneha from her tormentor Raghavendra, who was arrested recently following a complaint from the actress. Apart from the morphed images of Sneha with him, Raghavendra was also in possession of various images of her taken apparently without her knowledge in shooting spots. His seized mobile phone also contained messages that were sent to Sneha.

The messages are being probed into for further investigations. The cyber crime officials are also planning to interrogate Sneha in this regard as part of the investigations.

Sneha Namitha Lose Weight

Sneha’s stunt goes wrong

Once known to be a cute homely girl, actress Sneha has made an image makeover in a big way. The homely girl image has now taken over by a glam-doll one. Where our actors think twice before performing on their stunt scenes, Sneha proved that she has the guts to do so.

While recently shooting for Bhavani IPS, a remake of yesteryear flick Vijayanthi IPS, the glam-doll had to perform a stunt and had to jump from a great height. But instead of opting for a body-double, the actress preferred to perform the stunt herself. But she was least aware that this stunt would turn into an unfortunate accident and the actress got badly injured while doing the stunt. The shooting of the flick was called off instantly and Sneha was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Sneha would be playing a vamp

Gorgeous Sneha looks in a mood to prove her versatility in acting and show the audiences and the producers more shades of her acting talent. After Ramya Krishnan and Sangeetha, now Sneha would be playing a vamp in the forthcoming flick titled Goa. It is said her role as a vamp will be much talked about like Ramya Krishna in Padaiyappa. Sneha's birthday grand celebration

At a time most stars choose to celebrate their birthdays either with a huge bash or a quiet evening with family and friends, Sneha had something special planned for her birthday. The first thing Sneha did was to go to Kalikaambal temple to pray. Then she spent a happy time with friends and relatives.

Then She was at the Nehru Indoor Stadium on her birthday yesterday to support the cause of Arthritis awareness at the World Arthritis Day Charity Concert organized by Soundarapandian Bone and Joint Hospital. She spoke about the importance of healthy living to keep joint pains at bay.

Dressed in a golden yellow saree, she was cheered by all those present. She took to the mike as a fish to water and even sang a few lines of some of her hit songs. Swarnamalya, the MC of the evening, then invited Sneha to cut a chocolate cake to celebrate her birthday. Also present were Prem G. and Vaibhav, stars of the recent superhit Saroja.

It is gratifying to see stars who are socially active and not just glitz and glamour. Great going by the lovable Sneha, and happy birthday!
