Meanwhile, Jayam Ravi is extremely happy at this opportunity to work with Ameer, the talented director who gave the critically-acclaimed Paruthiveeran. At present, the broad-shouldered actor is working in Thillangadi, a remake of the super hit Telugu movie Kick. Tamanna plays the female lead and Shaam reprises his role from the original. Ravi has returned to his chocolate boy look after donning an action hero's look in Peranmai. Prabhu and Suhasini play pivotal roles. Vadivelu provides comic relief. Music is scored by Yuvanshankar Raja.

Tamannah is Ravi’s heroine

tamanna
Actress Tamanna may not be playing Vijay’s pair in his 50th film, afterall. The actress, who is said to be signed up as Vijay’s heroine in his landmark film, has maintained a grim silence over it. And now, it looks like we know why. Tamanna is hot property now, after the success of ’Ayan’. She is currently working with Karthi on ’Paiya’, and is in the verge of completing her work for ’Kanden Kadhalai’. She is likely to sign Dhanush’s next film. This film will bring together the team of ’Padikkadhavan’ again. Apart from these, the actress is also busy on the Telugu side, and is signing up films in Tollywood too. And now, she has been signed up to play Jayam Ravi’s heroine in his next film, ’Kick’, as well. With Vijay having clarified that news about Tamanna being part of his film is not confirmed, could this just be another story doing its rounds? Well, only the swing of the needles on the clock can answer that question.
