Charmi in Malayalam film with Dileep

Tollywood's charming beauty Charmi, who debuted in Malayalam with director Vinayan's less-than-famous Kattuchembakam in 2002 much before she became the oomph girl of Telugu films, will be the heroine in Dileep's untitled film, scheduled to start rolling in Ooty from September 4 under the direction of veteran Kamal.

Charmi came into this project after Mamta Mohandas stepped out due to "severe fever". Sources say that for the last one week, Kamal and Dileep were franticaly hunting for a heroine and finally chose Charmi since as the heroine in this film is required to display glamour. A comic thriller, this film is jointly written by Kalavoor Ravikumar and Kamal. Tamil actor Sathyaraj reportedly plays an important role in this film.

Charmi getting more offers

Charmi will play the lead role in a film to be made by Rajashekar. The film is just one of three films planned for production by Rajashekar, who is one of the producers of Yamagola Malli Modalayyindi. Srikanth and Venu are said to be the heroes, though official confirmation is awaited. The hero is yet to be finalized. Pawan will direct this film and Devi Sri Prasad will score the music. The film will in all probability start regular shooting schedules in November and Fame Entertainments banner will be producing it.
Right now, Charmi’s 16 Days where she has performed a daring kiss, is on the anvil. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music for this under-production movie. More details about the director, cast and crew will be given as soon as they are finalized.

Charmi is also busy with Kausalya Supraja Rama (KSR), Mayagadu and Manorama. All three are expected to be released very soon, making Charmi’s fans more than happy.

Tollywood Sexy girl Charmi in 'Mantra'



Actress Charmi, introduced by director Vijaya T Rajendher in Tamil cinema with Kadhal Azhivathillai, is back again after rocking Telugu audiences and a brief hiatus. She now plays the female lead in a horror flick titled 'Manthra'.

Directed by Tulasiram, 'Manthra' has musical score by Anand. The movie features popular Telugu actor Sivaji opposite Charmi. 'Manthra' is about an aspiring pop singer, who goes into revenge mode in order to kill all those behind her friends' murders.

Charmi
says, 'I enjoyed working in the movie for it has tremendous scope for glamour and action. At a time when hero-dominated films are the norm, an actress rarely gets an opportunity to work in such movies. I am confident 'Manthra' will help re-establish myself in the industry.'
