In a statement to the media, Prabhu Deva says that not only did Hansika Motwani put up a brilliant performance in his film even though she is very young, she will surely rise to the status of a star very soon in the future.

hansika66

That is surely some appreciation for the young girl who has still not been able to make her mark in the Bollywood film industry. ‘Engeyum Kaadhal’ is a love story and speaks about the relationship that two people share between themselves. Prabhu Deva says that it is essentially a feel-good cinema. Hansika Motwani is paired opposite Jayam Ravi in the upcoming Prabhu Deva flick which has music scored by Harris Jayaraj. The cast and crew of ‘Engeyum Kaadhal’ are presently in New Zealand for shooting a song sequence. The film, however, has been primarily shot in the fashion capital of the world Paris and ask Prabhu Deva about the experience in France and prompt comes the reply “expensive”!

After her illustrious stint as a child actress, Hansika Motwani has been a very popular face of South Indian cinema, especially in the Kollywood industry. Her association with the upcoming Prabhu Deva film will help her acquire a stronger foothold in the industry, feels the actress.

Nayanthara & Prabhudeva spotted on Valentine's day!

Has Nayanthara and Prabhu Deva formalized their live-in relationship?

Well, the Tamil tabloids are full of titbits about their “public togetherness” ever since they came together on stage to perform on February 6 at Chief Minister’s felicitation function in Chennai.

Nayanthara-Prabudeva

Since then the couple have been spotted at many places like Chennai airport coming out together after Nayan’s photo shoot in Bangalore for her Kannada film, at an upmarket restaurant, and last Friday night at Inox Multiplex in Chennai watching Shah Rukh Khan’s My Name Is Khan.

And on Valentine day Nayanthara, in a freewheeling interview with a leading Malayalam daily said- “If I like a person I will go out of my way to do anything for that person. I just don’t understand why people make and hue and cry that I tattooed Prabhu’s name on my hand. I really don’t care what people think about me as it is difficult to please all and sundry. I believe in the theory that we should live for ourself and the people who love us.”

Prabhu and Nayan are one of the idyllic looking couples in the dream world of Kollywood, the reason may be avowed that both are looking brilliantly stylish these days. And a little birdie tells us that Prabhu made his special one feel even more special on Valentine Day by taking Nayan for a long drive, a romantic candle lit dinner by the seaside at an exotic resort and lots of gifts. Cute isn’t it?

Problem for Prabhu Deva film

prabhu deva

The Salman Khan starrer ‘Wanted’, directed by Prabhu Deva, is facing a legal hurdle, as the Madras High Court on Thursday directed the producers of the movie, including actress Sridevi, to deposite Rs nine crore within a week failing which orders prohibiting them from screening the film will be in force.

A remake of Vijay starrer ‘Pokkiri’, the movie is produced by Sridevi Kapoor, her husband Boney Kapoor and Surendra Kapoor.

Justice G Rajasuria passed the orders on an affidavit filed by G G Photo Limited represented by its director Sushil Gupta, who has filed a civil suit for recovery of Rs.6.74 crore.

According to Sushil Gupta, the claims arouse out of assistance rendered and raw film stock supplied during the production of the film. Stating that he had letters, agreements and cheques to prove the claim, Gupta said in his petition that “all cheques, agreements and letters were duly signed and given voluntarily by the defendants.”
