Shriya and Dhanush are back1

The Thiruvilayaadal Aarambal hit pair Shriya and Dhanush are back!

They have started shooting for the remake of the Telugu hit, Arya. The movie, yet to be titled, is being directed by Mitran Jawahar, who had directed Dhanush’s 2008 super hit Yaaradi Nee Mohini. Music for the movie is by Devisri Prasad.

The movie, for which shooting has commenced in Vishakapatnam, was originally supposed to be directed by Balasekaran. There were lot of hiccups before the film finally took off. Initially, Simbu had also shown interest in the remake, but couldn’t do it as he fell out with the producers Gemini Film Circuit.

The buzz is that some major changes have been made to the original script as that film is nearly two years old and the interesting fact is that its sequel Arya- 2 is on the floors in Tollywood.
