Prabhu Deva's son passed away

Star, dancer master, and director Prabhu Deva’s son passed away early this morning. Called Vishal at home, he was named Basavaraj, and had been suffering from cancer for a long time. Deva and his family had been fighting the disease with him, knowing Vishal would be taken away from them any day.

When he died this morning, Prabhu Deva said that though he knew it would happen, he had hoped they would have more time with Vishal. Recently, he had even taken his son abroad on the Villu shoot to make him happy and fill him with memories.
