Dhanush as Seedan!

After the rather average grosser Yogi, director Subramanium Siva is working with Dhanush on Seedan Dhanush. While Yogi was the Tamil version of the Afrikaans movie Tsotsi, Seedan is an original story, he says.

“Our vedas state that one does not have to go far and wide to find God. According to the scriptures, God lies within everybody. My hero sees that God within himself. His actions are an outcome of that realization. When I tell people this is the core of my movie they think it's a devotional movie and ask me which God Dhanush plays – Siva or Murugan. That's not the case. God can take on any shape. God is whatever you want him to look like. This is the essence of Seedan,” reveals the director.
