I am pairing with Surya in this film.
It is a great thing to be introduced by a talented director. Talks are also going on with regard to me acting in a couple of Hindi films. I am dad’s pet. Because of this people are telling me that I am aloof from my mother. It is my mother who introduced me to the world. I am ever indebted to her.”
Last week Sruthi Hassan who has relocated to Mumbai was in Chennai for one of her endorsements.
During her stay in the city she met up with director AR Murgadoss and music director Harris Jayaraj, the people behind her first film in Tamil with Suriya.

Now in all probability, Sruthi will act and sing her own songs under the baton of Harris Jayaraj, for Murgadoss.

Asin is all smiles as she is been flooded with calls from her friends in the industry after she gave that inspiring speech at “Youth Forum of the India Today Conclave 2010” in New Delhi on the topic 'Change: Idealism vs Reality'.
She said: “Everyone is a commodity, exactly replaced by the next talented non-name. If a formula works, then it’s flogged to death, new ideas are dammed. Mediocre products will continue to be made unless someone stands up and says- I will not do it, and then be prepared for a fall out- which in the case of an actor I can say is lesser endorsements, lesser PR, lesser visibility and so called "industry friends".
Asin is also proud of the fact that she is the only Indian actress to have met the internationally acclaimed Oscar winning Avatar director James Cameron at the conclave and later for a discussion on movies in the evening followed by dinner. It was Aamir Khan’s birthday and a huge chocolate cake was cut.
Says Asin: “ Along with James, we all wished Aamir and helped him to cut the cake as he insisted that we put only one candle and not 45 on the cake! We had dinner together and James was pestering me throughout the evening for an autograph and in return I ragged him, asking him to break into Bollywood and he at his humourous best replied - Why not? But on one condition – No song ‘n’ dance for me! ”
Ten days after the clips of Swami Nithyananda allegedly frolicking with Tamil actress Ranjitha were flashed on TV screens across the country, the 33-year-old Swami said they were just ‘experiments’ that rubbed society the wrong way. He blamed the media for the ‘attack’ against him and his organisation.
He made this statement in a video interview with his disciple Rajiv Malhotra. The video was uploaded on YouTube, a popular video-sharing site. This is the first time Nithyananda is making a direct reference to the sex scandal.
Nithyananda said the latest controversy had taught him several lessons. "In 33 years of my life, I have seen two extremes: from being the most watched-guru on YouTube to the most-watched scandal on YouTube. In a way, even this abuse, defamation, and attack have taught me a lot of lessons about society, life, and humanity, which I had never thought of and never looked into. This has made me more responsible. Now I have decided that I am not going to experiment [with] anything which is not widely accepted by society."
The spiritual leader told the interviewer that his organisation had failed in handling the scandal and other allegations leveled against him. "Our PR was not trained for this planned attack," he said. The swami termed the latest controversy as part of a conspiracy. “We were not prepared for this kind of a strong attack, a war. We are a silent group, conducting spiritual research, practicing and sharing it to the world," he said.
