Asin says Dad comes first

Anybody who has seen Asin at a public event is aware of the rapport she shares with her dad, Joseph Thottumkal, or JT, as he is popularly known. The two are found together forever, with her daddy dear guiding her in as many ways as possible. In fact, her dad, a businessman in his own right, was largely responsible for the actress to shape her career properly. So imagine Asin’s chagrin when she is told that her father is suffering from acute appendicitis and needs to undergo surgery soon!

The actress cancelled all her film commitments and rushed to a hospital in Andheri to be at her dad’s bedside, to make sure he is well. But JT, being the strict professional that he is, insisted on Asin resuming shoot for her films, which he said she should not stall for his ill health. The actress, unable to refute daddy dear’s advice, has been dubbing for her films and taking care of her dad, in what has become a very demanding schedule for her.Asin is currently working in London Dreams, pairing with Salman Khan.
