Prabhu Deva completed the dubbing of Urumi in a Chennai studio last week.
Prabhu Deva told : "It was fun dubbing for Urumi. Initially I was tensed as I had to speak in Malayalam spoken 400 years back with Malabar slang, but I picked it up fast".
Santosh Sivan the director of the film had initially kept three days for Prabhu's dubbing, but to the surprise of the entire team, he finished it in 6 hours with breaks, in a day.
Urumi carried excellent reports and Prabhu plays a very important role, crucial to the story. He is there throughout the film which is almost three hours.
Adds Prabhu: "Urumi will be a visual treat. The shots and locations are awesome. It will transport the audience to the 16th century and I think it will be landmark film in my career."
There is a song between Prabhu and Nithya Menen which is sure to scorch the screen.
The audio of the film will be launched next week at a grand function in Thiruvananthapuram.
