Tabu starrer Hindi thriller ‘Hawa’ is all set to speak in Tamil. The film has some steamy scenes involving the actress. To be released by Hamsa Lingam on Gururaja International banner, the Tamil version has been titled ‘Raja Leelai’.
Heavily 'inspired' by Sidney Furie's 1982 horror film ‘The Entity’, ‘Hawa’, which hit theatres in 2003, begins with a divorcee (Tabu) moving into her new bungalow with her younger brother, two daughters, and a dog.
The weather in the new place isn't too kind. Thunderstorms hit the area and lightning strikes next to her compound. Soon Tabu, her brother, and the faithful dog start hearing and seeing 'airy' things. The invisible spirit soon takes a fancy to Tabu. What’s next is the crux.
Apart from Tabu, the film has Shahbaz Khan, Mukesh Tiwari, Imran Khan, Grusha Kapoor, Vishwajeet Pradhan, Amit Behl and Avtar Gill in lead roles. ‘Hawa’ is written by Sutanu Gupta and directed by Guddu Dhanoa.
